Kinmel Hotel - Susannah & Tom
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Price! This was a nice local shoot, about 5 minutes away from my home, in Abergele. The morning started at Susannah's family home, followed by St Michaels Church, then on to the Kinmel Hotel & Spa. All approximately within 1 mile of each other. Less time on the road, means more time capturing the moments and emotion of the day!
Whilst the emotional bridesmaids (especially Natasha in the middle) took some deep breaths and changed into their dresses for the main event, I ventured over to the Church to meet the gents.
The local Male Voice Choir were in fine voice to entertain the wedding guests. Outside, our bride, Susannah had arrived.
Meanwhile, back inside, with everyone and everything in place, the anxious groom awaits. Susannah made him wait the duration of two entrance songs :-) This was great for capturing the emotion. The Wedding could now commence!
You might notice that I always offer a variety of colour and black and white. Black and white doesn't work on all photo's, but I will often revert to 'B&W' when attempting to exaggerate emotion, drama or show fine detail on subjects such as architecture or the wedding dress textures and patterns.
Once the new Mr & Mrs Price had exited the church, there was time outside for a couple of family group shots before heading to the Kinmel Hotel for the Drinks Reception.
Susannah & Tom's story goes back a long way. I have a lot of brides and grooms who have met the modern way - at a bar, online or via an App. There's was 'old school' - childhood sweethearts from their school days. It was a lovely story which was emphasised throughout everyones speeches.
I love Tom's face in these one's! What could the Best Man have said???
It was another excellent wedding at Kinmel Hotel & Spa and this time I had the opportunity to work alongside James of Woodpecker Films. James is one of my Recommended Videographers on the Wedding circuit. A list of these suppliers can be viewed on my Recommended Suppliers page.
I wish both Susannah & Tom a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family.
If you know of anyone that might be getting married at the Kinmel or anywhere else in the world, and are in need of a wedding photographer to capture their day, please spread the word.
