Bodnant Welsh Food - Jen & Chris
This was one of my favourite weddings of 2023 - a beautiful family celebrating their intimate wedding celebrations in the North Wales countryside with glorious conditions. Bodnant Welsh Food in the Conwy Valley is located in a stunning setting alongside the Conwy River with views of Eryri (Snowdonia NP). Read on to see which other suppliers featured on the day and for some images of what was a great day.
The morning began with Jen and the Bridal party who were getting ready at one of the cottage on the grounds of Bodnant Welsh Food. Chris and the gents were in a nearby cottage, so I was able to flit between both, which is so convenient. I used the time to capture some interaction as well as all of the detail - from venue decor, the dress, the shoes etc. Incidentally Jen's hair was styled by Jeniosa with Make-up by Cassie M Bridal.
I loved the attire on the day. The gents suits were sourced from Moss Bros with Jen's beautiful dress from the amazing Cameo Brides, from Llandudno. The sky lights in the cottage made for some beautiful photo opportunities.
Before the ceremony up at the 'Hayloft' there was time for a dress reveal to Jen's dad, before the walk to the ceremony. The wedding could commence.
Congratulations to the newlyweds. A confetti walk led us into the drinks reception. Whilst guests enjoyed a few drinks, Jen, Chris and I wandered the grounds of Bodnant Welsh Food to take advantage of the stunning views. Flowers on the day were perfectly created by Luna Flowers.
Before guests were called in for Wedding Breakfast there was time for a few formal group photographs including a large group shot of the entire wedding party. Jen (bride) is a huge Disney fan, so as a reference to her love for Disney, I arranged the Wedding Rings to the iconic shape below.
After the speeches, Jen, Chris and I took one more opportunity for an evening photo shoot utilising different areas on the grounds of Bodnant Welsh Food, with some stunning results. Evening guests arrived soon after before the music and partying could begin.
