Carden Park - Sioned & Aaron

What a journey - Sioned & Aaron booked my services years ago. After squeezing in a Pre-wedding shoot at the waterfalls near Bersham, Covid tried to ruin it for us all. Through constant government date changes due to the pandemic I lost their wedding, before regaining their custom again. It was meant to be... and we had the greatest celebration at Carden Park.

The morning began at Sioned's family home near Wrexham before a ceremony at nearby Rhostyllen Church.

I met the gents at the church in advance of the girls arrival. Here I was able to capture groupshots of the groomsmen as well as some detail at the church before the ceremony commenced. Sioned arrived in a Rolls Royce with her Grandad, courtesy of Red Carpet Cars. Sioned & Aaron's son, also arrived in style, cruising down the aisle in his swanky white Land Rover.

After a vibrant confetti walk and after paying respects to Sioned's late father, we departed to continue the celebrations at Carden Park, where guests waited on the lawns for the drinks reception.

During the drinks reception we took advantage of some group photographs and some photo's of the newlyweds before everyone was called in for the speeches and wedding breakfast... and we were in for a treat...

... treated to Singing Waiters!!! Loads of entertainment!

Once the chaos of the singing waiters had simmered, Sioned, Aaron, myself and videographer Phil (of Caru Videography) jumped into a golf buggy with staff member at Carden Park and were chauffered around the grounds to utilise some locations for photos. These included a bridge with lovely reflection, the sculptures garden and an on-site vineyard.

Meanwhile, inside, the evening reception was all set up and guests waited for the cutting of the cake, followed by the first dance. There was also a beautiful and emotional dance between Sioned and her sister, in memory of their father. This was followed by some tremendous moves from their oldest son, who became my best mate for the day :-)
