Hafod Farm - Steph & Paul

After a couple of years away from Hafod Farm, it was twice in a week - this time for Steph & Paul. Today's forecast was due to be a similar washout to last week, but we had a pleasant surprise. We had plenty of nice outdoor opportunities. For an insight into their special day, please read on. There's a list of the suppliers at the end o the blog.

My mornings coverage began in the cottages. Stephanie and the girls were in one, with Paul and the his wedding party in the other. It was easy for me to flit between them to get a range of results.

With our stunning bride Steph ready to walk down the aisle and with Paul in place looking very sharp in his suit, the ceremony could now commence - It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony one.

Congratulations to the newlyweds. The drinks were served, but whilst we had clear skies and everyone together, we snuck in a quick confetti shot and a main group shot of all of the guests.

Together with the brilliant (videographer) Sam, of Woodpecker Films... Steph, Paul and I took a stroll onto the field with that beautiful Gwydir Forest backdrop, for a couples shoot. These two were naturals. Lots of love and laughter.

With group shots completed, guests were called in to the reception barn for speeches, which preceded food. Todays wedding breakfast was provided by the AMAZING Marc Macauley Catering (one of my faves).

Steph was adamant that the gents did not go for the 'Peaky Blinders' look, but it was a little too late as all of the male guests had acquired a Peaky Blinders style cap, minus the razor blades. So, post food, we went back on to the fields for a group shot. Meanwhile, the excellent Kyle Parry had arrived to perform some live music as well as a magician for the "kids".

The evening reception was well and truly underway with guests loving the live music, booze flowing, full tummies and lots of laughter. Before the DJ called through the guests for the tradition of the first dance there was still time for some a caricature, some smoke grenade action and just as it was getting dark, some cigar photo's with some off camera flash. It's great to have so many moments to capture.

..... and, we were able to sneak in one last couples shoot and some family photo's with the boys. All in all it's been a great day.

I’d like to wish Steph & Paul a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations to you both and thanks so much for booking Nathan Roberts Photography to capture your special day. I had a lovely day celebrating and capturing your day with wonderful family and friends.
