Henblas Country Park - Angharad & Gaz

I didn't have to wait long for another opportunity to photograph another wedding at the beautiful Henblas Country Park. This time it was for my good ol' friends Angharad & Gareth, for their special day.

My coverage began at Henblas to photograph the detail at the venue, perfectly decorated by Event Cheshire, with flowers by Acacia Flowers. Gaz and his groomsmen had arrived and were getting ready at 'Man Cave'. Once we'd completed some group photo's I headed to the nearby cottage where Angharad and her bridal party were having their Hair & Make up finished off by Elin Thomas (Ypdws) and Anna Baxter Make up.

With Angharad in her beautiful dress, we made time for some photos capturing the reactions of the bridesmaids getting a glimpse of Angharad for the first time, before an emotional reveal to her Dad outside the cottage.

Then it was back to Henblas - It was a time for a wedding! I just needed to check out this tower of donuts en route. Wow!

Congratulations to the newlyweds. Now the party could commence - Drinks were served. Typically at this point, I would venture outside for a couples shoot and group photo's but we were restricted due to adverse weather conditions, which is very common in North Wales. Fortunately for Gaz & Angharad, Henblas has beautiful options indoors for photographs. The natural light in the main ceremony room is outstanding.

Meanwhile, the team at Henblas were about to reveal the reception/ wedding breakfast room in all its glory - it looks absolutely stunning - check out the following photo's.

With food served and with a full stomach, It was back to the photography... and one of my favourite times of the day - speeches. I love the natural reactions, especially when the room is decorated as beautifully as it was on this day.

After the iconic "Donut cutting" photo opportunity and with improved weather conditions we took the opportunity for a confetti shot, followed by an evening couples shoot on the grounds of Henblas.

Being a huge fan of VW Campervans, this was an ideal scenario, utilising the vintage bay window camper with the more modern day Transporter. Soon after, we were called in for the First Dance and some fun on the dancefloor.
