Thornton Hall Hotel - Lisa & Christy
Freedom day has just been announced in England, and this will be the first legit celebration in a long time for pretty much everyone attending this wedding, since Covid related restrictions have been dropped - This will be loads of fun. Lisa & Christy didn't fail :-)
The entire day was spent at Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa, located on the Wirral and we were treated to some beautiful weather. Thornton Hall Hotel has a huge Wedding Preparation area for Hair & Make-up, which was perfect to accommodate Lisa's huge bridal party. This made for lots of laughter and plenty of opportunities to capture the emotion of the morning.
The boys arrived in style, in a Rolls Royce, provided by Ace's Car Hire. This is always the busy part of a wedding day. Capturing the gents usually coincides with the Bride getting her into her dress followed by the dress reveal... all in a short period of time before the ceremony can begin.
With the sun shining, Lisa & Christy were able to marry outside. The secret was that they actually married the week before (which was revealed later on during the speeches) but this time they could marry in front of all of their family and friends in the glorious weather.
As I mentioned earlier.... freedom day has passed, so the party could begin, to celebrate Mr & Mrs Talbot.
The decor at Thornton Hall Hotel looked incredible. After capturing this detail and once the guests are sat, I would typically take a break around this time..... only there were yet more surprises. This time the 'Singing Waiters' - awesome entertainment.
After the beautiful wedding breakfast and the speeches and with wine, beer and bubbly flowing, the live music began. Shaun Walsh's set was amazing. Great entertainment and the guests were loving it!
The Party was in full swing with evening guests arriving for the reception. Lisa, Christy and I disappeared for a short while for photographs at the front of the hotel. Then the party commenced. What a celebration it has been. So many smiles and emotion throughout. There was an overall relief for everyone involved that life felt like it was back on track, and what a way to celebrate it, at a wedding with loved ones.
I wish both Lisa & Christy a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family. If you know of anyone that might be getting married at the Thornton Hall Hotel or anywhere else in the world, and are in need of a wedding photographer to capture their day, please spread the word.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Talbot!!!
