Ruthin Castle - Catherine & Steve
Catherine & Steve's wedding was one of very few as of late to evade the claws of Covid-19. We were able to go ahead with the original plans, which began at the iconic Marble Church in Bodelwydden, before the 30 minute journey east to Ruthin Castle.
The conditions weren't too bad for an October wedding - it was dry and the wind, minimal. I was met by Steve and the Groomsmen for pre-ceremony group shots and to capture guests arriving. Catherine arrived just in time, before the short walk with her father and bridesmaids. The ceremony could commence.
The Marble Church is probably one of my favourite churches in the area - it's vast and has loads of character and excellent light. This always makes for beautiful wedding photo's.
Once the photo's were completed at the church, we departed for the drinks reception at Ruthin Castle, with Catherine & Steve in this beautiful Rolls Royce, courtesy of Ace's Car Hire.
With speeches and wedding breakfast completed, the evening was spent with a couples shoot on the grounds , before the traditions of cutting the cake and the first dance.
I wish both Catherine & Steve a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family.
