Soughton Hall - Zoe & Peter

19th August 2022 was Zoe & Peter's time to marry. It was back to the incredible Soughton Hall for their beautiful wedding reception, with a ceremony before hand at 'Our Lady & St John Church', in Heswall.

I began my day with videographer "Lucy Film's Weddings" at Zoe's family home near to the church. The morning began capturing Zoe and her Bridal Party preparing for the day ahead... as well as her huge Newfoundland "Barnaby", who was donning his very own bow tie. Then, it was off to the church to meet Peter and the rest of the wedding party, for the ceremony.

Soughton Hall awaited us, and the weather conditions, once again, were tremendous. During the drinks reception I utilised the time capturing the newlyweds, group shots and those fun candid photo's of guests enjoying themselves. Its also a great opportunity to capture all the detail that couples plan for their day, such as the wedding cars, flowers, decor etc.

The speeches followed the wedding breakfast - one of my favourite moments of a wedding day. It's great for those candid shots, especially now that the drinks are flowing. It makes for some great reactions.

We had beautiful weather conditions during the break before the evening reception so wandered the enormous grounds taking vantage of the many backdrops. The evening reception followed where we took advantage of the traditional cutting of the cake and the first dance... all after some fun with smoke grenades, which looked amazing!!!

I’d like to wish Zoe & Peter a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations to you both and thanks so much for booking Nathan Roberts Photography to capture your special day. I had a lovely day celebrating and capturing your day with wonderful family and friends.
