Some weddings just feel effortless—great people, a stunning setting, and a brilliant atmosphere. Kerry & Marc’s day in Trefnant had all of that and more. With the Clwydian Range as a backdrop, their marquee reception was the perfect setting for a laid-back but stylish wedding. The weather was spot on—blue skies, warm sun, and ideal light for photography.

Morning Prep
The morning kicked off at Kerry's family home, where Kerry got ready with family and her bridal party. It was all about those natural moments—laughs with bridesmaids, final dress adjustments, and that mix of nerves and excitement before heading to the church. Over at St Marcella's Church, Denbigh, Marc and the groomsmen had their own relaxed start—a few group photos and a few deep breaths before guests started arriving.

The Ceremony at St Marcellas
With Kerry arriving in style, joined by her son, the entrance was full of emotion. St Marcellas is a stunning spot, and as vows were exchanged, rings placed, and the register signed, the atmosphere was incredible.
Instead of traditional confetti, the newlyweds walked out into a bubbles-filled exit, which looked amazing in photos. Then it was onto family group shots, using the Clwydian Range as a perfect backdrop—and even a few bonus shots with the dog!

Drinks, Photos & The Marquee Reception
From the church, it was over to the marquee reception, beautifully set up by UP Marquee's. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés, while we grabbed some quick couples shots nearby. My favorite moments were capturing Kerry and Marc at the custom made swing, in the woodland with some of the best light of the day.
Inside the marquee, Waterhouse Flowers had done an incredible job with the floral arrangements, particularly the top table display. And of course, I had to grab a shot of The Beer Trough, which was a massive hit with guests!

Wedding Breakfast & Speeches
As the sun started to drop, the wedding breakfast kicked off, with Marc Macauley Catering providing the food (and it was sublime - always is!). The rings shot was a special one, with Kerry’s moss log setup adding a unique touch. Speeches had the perfect balance of heartfelt moments and just the right amount of roasting for the Groom!

The Evening – Party Mode Activated
The evening celebrations started with cutting the cake, made by Kerry herself, before the first dance. Live music from Roxy Jukebox took things up a level, and the dancefloor was packed from that moment on. Earlier in the day, Craig Beal’s acoustic set had set a great tone—music was a huge part of the atmosphere all day long.

An Unforgettable Day
Kerry & Marc’s wedding was the perfect mix of elegance, fun, and personal touches. A huge thanks to them for letting me capture it all!
