Vale Country Club - Rachel & Sean
Yet another glorious day at Vale Country Club, for Rachel & Sean's big day! This was to be wedding number 3 of 10 in 2022, that I will be fortunate enough to photograph at this beautiful venue. "A beautiful venue situated in the heart of the Vale of Clwyd, overlooking an area of outstanding natural beauty. Vale Country Club is a family run business, with the aim to make your special day as wonderful as you’ve dreamt it to be. The rustic exposed oak beams, large inglenook fire place and traditional slate flooring create beautiful character and charm. The countryside setting is perfect for your Wedding photographs as the Clwydian Range creates a spectacular backdrop" (https://www.valecountryclub.co.uk/).
The morning began with Rachel and the bridal party at Rachels Mums house in Flint. Pre-wedding is where I'm able to capture lots of the smaller detail, such as the dress and shoes. It's also an opportunity to capture the interaction between the bridal party as well as hair and make up. On this occasion, Nicole of Fika (Holywell) was on Make-up, with Zara Leigh of Hair Fix (Flint), styling hair.
As soon as Rachels dress reveal to her Dad was captured, I hit the road towards Ruthin, for the ceremony, where the gents were waiting. Rachel & Sean's wedding took place in the larger of the rooms at Vale Country Club.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Evans. Now, to celebrate! With the drinks reception under way, Rachel, Sean and I took advantage of the good conditions and disappeared for a photo shoot by the pond as well as some group shots with family and friends.
Meanwhile, back at the venue, the room was all set up for the Wedding Breakfast which was followed by the speeches. The rustic look really works at Vale Country Club.
With a little free time until the evening reception begins, I was able to capture yet more group shots with a few extra shots of Rachel and Sean, utilising other areas of the venue. I like to give couples variety in their photo's.
The evening reception had begun..... starting with a face full of wedding cake. There are so many traditions still seen regularly in todays weddings. Cutting of the Cake and the First Dance are too of the more popular ones. Rachel even had a dance with her Dad, which I've seen so much more at weddings as of late.
I’d like to wish Rachel & Sean a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations to you both and thanks so much for booking Nathan Roberts Photography to capture your special day. I had a lovely day celebrating and capturing your day with wonderful family and friends.
